In relation with the world purchasing operations manager of an American customer, owner of 12 sites with offices in 12 European countries, our consulting team conducts a mission of purchasing optimization. The portfolio entrusted to them is estimated at approximately 11 million of euros on all kinds of purchases, excepted for raw materials.
The mission of our teams is built around several optimization strategies:
– negotiation of pricing conditions on products ordered by our customer to historic suppliers
– sourcing and qualification of more efficient and competitive suppliers on the relevant markets
– pooling of several purchasing categories in some suppliers in order to increase order volumes and consequently to allow new negotiations of purchasing conditions by reducing the supplier database of our customer.
This kind of mission enables us to propose to our customers some of our partners but also improve our international PSL List (Preferred Supplier List).
